BHC Accepting Donations, Sponsors, Parade RSVPs for Carnival

Update: Thank you for your support!

The 54th Beacon Hose Firemen’s Carnival and Parade is set for this June! We hope to see our residents, friends and fellow members of the fire service from June 8-10 for delicious food, cold drinks, lots of fun, engaging music and great rides — including this year’s rock climbing wall!

Our committee has been hard at work, imagining a few changes to build upon the tremendous success we experienced in 2016. Check out everything we’re cooking up by clicking here.

Part of our job in the lead-up to the event is soliciting donations from our residents, friends and local businesses. There is a substantial cost associated with hosting an event of this scale, and the kind donations that we receive help us maximize the benefits of this event. Proceeds benefit our community, including sponsorship of local youth sports, fire prevention programs, educational scholarships, holiday functions, events throughout the community and opportunities for our volunteer members.

54th Annual Beacon Hose Carnival Set for June 8-10

Update: Thank you for your support!

The Beacon Hose Firemen’s Carnival, one of Beacon Falls’ longest lasting and most enjoyable traditions, is set to return for the 54th time this Thursday-Saturday, June 8-10, on the grounds of Beacon Hose.

Each June, thousands of visitors from Beacon Falls and towns all over the state join us for three nights of delicious food, cold drinks, exciting rides, great fun and engaging music to help raise funds for the civic side of Beacon Hose’s operations.

Carnivals and parades used to be common traditions among local fire departments, but many have been discontinued over the years because of the work required. We’ve made sure to continue an event that has become a town-wide tradition. Proceeds from the carnival go toward our community efforts, including sponsorship of local youth sports, fire prevention programs, educational scholarships, holiday functions, events throughout the community and opportunities for our volunteer members.
