To help support the 2015 Upper Valley CSFA Convention and Parade, which we’ll be hosting in September with Citizens’ Engine Co. No. 2, Beacon Hose will host a pair of fundraisers this summer.
There will be a Poker Run for motorcycles and classic cars Sunday, July 12. Registration starts at 11 a.m. at Beacon Hose. Entry fees are $20 per driver and $10 per passenger, and a cash prize will be given out for best hand. Door prizes will also be awarded, and the event ends at the Dark Horse Saloon in Oxford for food and drinks.
Beacon Hose will also host a Steak and Brew Night on Saturday, June 27, from 5-9 p.m. at the firehouse. Tickets are $30 per person and include either steak or a roasted half-chicken, plus a baked potato, vegetable, roll, dessert and beer or soft drinks. The folks from Black Hog Brewing in Oxford will be on hand for the event.
