Beacon Hose Co. No. 1 will be holding a cow chip raffle fundraiser on Sunday, Nov. 23 at 12:30 p.m. in the firehouse parking lot. It will be preceded by a country-style breakfast beginning at 8 a.m.
The top prize will be $500, followed by four prizes of $50 each. The winner will not need to be present — although it will be a fun day!
Tickets are $5 each. They will be available up until the time of the drawing, although they are limited and could sell out.
Prior to the cow chip raffle, Beacon Hose will host a country-style breakfast at the firehouse from 8 a.m. until noon. The menu includes eggs, french toast, pancakes, sausage, bacon, home fries, coffee, tea and juice. The cost for adults is $8 and for children under 12 is $5. Tickets will be available at the door.
