Beacon Hose Co. No. 1 is the volunteer fire, emergency medical and rescue provider of Beacon Falls, Conn. We’ve taken pride in serving and protecting our town for 117 years.
Beacon Hose serves the community with around-the-clock fire protection, rescue and emergency medical services. The annual call load now consists of around 280 fire responses, 525 emergency medical calls and numerous public assistance runs. The department also supplies mutual-aid fire and EMS services to area towns (especially Naugatuck, Oxford, Bethany and Seymour) when called upon to do so. Currently, there are approximately 110 men and women serving Beacon Falls as members of Beacon Hose Co. No. 1.
As a cornerstone of the community, Beacon Hose Co. No. 1 sponsors local youth sports teams, the local Boy Scouts Troop 104, middle and high school educational scholarships, Fire Prevention Week, the annual fishing derby, the town’s Christmas tree lighting and bonfire, an Easter egg hunt, community events throughout the year, assistance for local less-fortunate families and much more.
Beacon Hose Co. No. 1 stands ready to continue its service to the Town of Beacon Falls with its pledge to serve, protect and help make Beacon Falls a safe and caring community in which to live.
