Beacon Hose held its annual Memorial Day weekend ceremonies on Sunday, May 24, to remember the men and women who have died fighting for the United States, as well as our departed members.
The morning started with a breakfast with American Legion Post 25 members at the firehouse, followed by the flag raising ceremony in front of the station and a department photo. Later, Beacon Hose appeared in Seymour’s parade before taking part in Beacon Falls’ ceremony at Veterans Park.
Beacon Hose extends its greatest gratitude to those who have sacrificed and continue to sacrifice so we may enjoy freedom at home, and we never forget the contributions made by the members who have gone before us.
