Beacon Hose Co. No. 1 and the Lions Club of Beacon Falls will team up to host our annual golf tournament fundraiser Monday, Sept. 10, at the Golf Club at Oxford Greens (99 Country Club Drive, Oxford).
The fee is $150 per player ($600 per foursome), which includes 18 holes at one of the area’s best courses, a golf cart, dinner and prizes. There will also be a raffle and prizes on various holes. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. the day of the tournament, with a shotgun start to follow at 1 p.m.
The dinner that follows the tournament will include grilled marinated flank steak, chicken marsala, Caesar salad, rolls, vegetables, and roasted potatoes. The fee for those who wish to join for the dinner only is $50 per person.
Reservations must be received by Aug. 31. We encourage checks to be sent ahead of time, but players may also pay the day of the tournament provided they have sent in reservations. Individuals or foursomes are welcome to register. Incomplete foursomes will be paired at registration.
We are also seeking donations and sponsorships to benefit our organizations. Donations will be accepted and acknowledged in any amount.
