Update: Thanks for your support!
We’ve enjoyed successful Octoberfest food and beer festivals, but this year, we’re moving it to a summer kickoff with our annual firemen’s parade!
This new Beacon Hose event brings together some of the state’s best food trucks with a selection of domestic and craft alcoholic beverages, family-friendly games and activities, music, and our annual firemen’s parade, which is a 60-year tradition that typically accompanies our carnival (which is October 14-16 this year … more info to come).
There is no admission fee or tickets required for the public. The event opens at 4 p.m. and closes at 10 p.m.
Among the event’s highlights:
- Eight terrific food trucks
- Beer, sangria, and hard seltzer
- Our annual parade (at 6 p.m.)
- Live music
- Family-friendly games and entertainment
- Kickoff of our annual $10,000 raffle
Can’t wait to see everyone to help us kick off the summer! More details on everything as they’re announced will follow below.

Our annual carnival raffle kicks off at SummerPalooza! There will be 25 cash prizes in all: a $10,000 grand prize, a $2,000 second prize, three more prizes of $1,000, and 20 prizes of $100.
Tickets cost $20 each and will available at the event, at the firehouse, through Beacon Hose members, at local businesses, and on our website. Tickets will not be on sale until the event June 25.
There are only 2,500 tickets available, and the drawing will be held Sunday, October 16, at 4 p.m. at the carnival.
There will be plenty of things to do for the family! We’ll have an inflatable obstacle course, cornhole, and plenty of other games.
We’ve also got some good live music! Beacon Falls’ own Noah Rodorigo will play from 4-5:45 p.m., and the Funk #48 Band will take over after the parade from 6:30-9 p.m.
