UPDATE: Thanks for your support!
Beacon Hose Octoberfest returns this fall, and we’re happy to announce that all of our department’s proceeds from the event will be donated to the WFSB/WPLR Community Rising Flood Relief Fund administered by TEAM, Inc., to benefit Valley residents and businesses affected by the Aug. 18 flash floods.
Join us at Beacon Hose on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. for our annual Octoberfest. Celebrate some of the year’s best weather with a day filled with good food, drinks, Fire Prevention Week activities, and family fun at our firehouse.
We’ll feature a bunch of the best food trucks in the state — see below for the list! Besides all that delicious food, here’s what else is on tap:
- A wide selection of adult beverages from Nikki’s Happy Hitch Bar
- Fire Prevention Week activities, including touch-a-truck and live demonstrations
- A pumpkin patch — choose and decorate your own pumpkin from Verab Greenhouses
- Games for adults and children, including inflatables from the National Guard and plenty of yard games and table games
- Live music
We’re excited to continue our new fall tradition here at Beacon Hose! Admission is free, and all of our food truck and drink vendors kick back a portion of their sales to benefit the cause.
Here are this year’s food vendors:
Szabo’s Seafood with its fresh seafood, including lobster rolls and more!
Not Just Blowin’ Smoke with its slow-cooked barbecue, an annual staple of our event!
MexiRican Food Truck with a fusion of Mexican and Puerto Rican food!
Cricket Car Hop with a menu full of fun burger and hot dog creations!
Meriano’s Cannoli Truck with some of the best cannoli you’ll find anywhere!
The Drunk Alpaca with gourmet snacks and sweets!
Beacon Hose will be frying up some poutine!
Our neighbors at The Tap House will also have some snack and drink specials!
We’ll also have Nikki’s Happy Hitch Bar serving a variety of drinks, including plenty of fall-themed beverages!
Any vendors interested in joining us can contact us by Facebook message or by email (info@beaconhose.com) to discuss arrangements. There is limited space available.
Feel free to ask any questions — hope to see you again this fall as we raise money for our neighbors in the Valley!
