The top complaint every year at the Beacon Hose Carnival is this: “There’s nowhere to park!”
Finally, we have a solution: Introducing carnival shuttle bus service between Beacon Hose and Laurel Ledge Elementary School!
Our shuttle bus will allow riders to park at Laurel Ledge and catch a ride to the main entrance of the carnival! The shuttle will run every 15 minutes, or more frequently as needed, between the start of the carnival and 30 minutes prior to closing.
We know downtown is a bit of a mess with road work, and walking a half-mile to the firehouse isn’t for everyone, so we hope this shuttle bus will make it easier for our neighbors and friends to join us! (Remember that median parking is allowed during the carnival if you do decide to drive.) Our carnival hours are below:
Thursday, June 25: 6-10 p.m. (last shuttle at 9:30)
Friday, June 26: 6-11 p.m. (last shuttle at 10:30)
Saturday, June 27: 5:30-11 p.m. (last shuttle at 10:30)
