2nd Annual Boil, Broil, and Bologna Drive-Thru to Benefit BHC Special Ops Unit

Y’all already know that our carnival will be held in October this year — but we know you want some good food before then! That’s why we’re holding our second annual Beacon Hose Boil, Broil, and Bologna Drive-Thru Dinner!

The event is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 7, from 4-7 p.m.. All dinners must be pre-ordered and pre-paid, and they picked up during a designated time slot at Beacon Hose. Pre-ordering will close on Wednesday, Aug. 4 — there will be no day-of orders available, so don’t wait!

This year, proceeds will go toward advancing Beacon Hose’s new special operations unit. This unit provides for swift-water rescue, ice rescue, rope rescue, and dive-team capabilities as part of the Region 5 Dive Team. The town provides some funding for equipment, but this fundraiser will allow us to self-fund more upgrades, equipment, and training opportunities for the 15-plus Beacon Hose members on our unit.

What’s on the menu? Not just the classic lobster dinners available every year at our carnival, but also the return of the Lobster Bomb! We’ll also have steak dinners on the grill, and some beloved bologna sandwiches!

Pre-Order for BHC’s ‘Boil, Broil, and Bologna’ Drive-Thru Dinner

We know y’all have been craving some great food cooked up by the Beacon Hose chefs since we sadly didn’t get to put on a carnival this year — so it’s time for the Beacon Hose Boil, Broil, and Bologna Drive-Thru Dinner!

The event is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 26, from 4-7:30 p.m.. All dinners must be pre-ordered and pre-paid, and they picked up during a designated time slot at Beacon Hose. Pre-ordering will close on Wednesday, Sept. 23 — there will be no day-of orders available, so don’t wait!

What’s on the menu? Not just the classic lobster dinners available every year at our carnival, but also the return of the Lobster Bomb that we unveiled at the 2019 carnival. We’ll also have steak dinners on the grill, and since we didn’t get to serve up our traditional bologna sandwiches, those are on the menu, too! Drinks, sides, and dessert are also available.

Beacon Hose Lobster Dinner Set for June 25

We know many of you enjoyed some fresh lobster at our carnival … and if that wasn’t enough, we can help satisfy your seafood (or land-based) appetite with our special annual summer dinner at the end of June.

Join us at the firehouse on Saturday, June 25, from 5-8 p.m. for our lobster, steak and chicken dinner. Check out the flyer below for the dinner details. Ziti Dinner to Benefit New Harvest’s Gang Guo

New Harvest Restaurant owner Gang Guo was recently involved in a serious bicycle accident and is recovering in the hospital. Since taking over the New Harvest, Gang has been a loyal and ardent supporter of not only Beacon Hose, but of many causes and organizations throughout Beacon Falls.

In conjunction with the Beacon Falls Rotary Club, the Beacon Falls Lions Club and the Beacon Falls Lioness Club, we will be hosting a fundraiser ziti dinner to support Gang and his family.

Beacon Hose’s Lobster/Steak Dinner Set For Aug. 29

Beacon Hose will host a lobster/steak dinner Saturday, Aug. 29, from 4-8 p.m. at the firehouse. A twin lobster dinner is $30, a single lobster dinner is $25 and a steak dinner is $25. All dinners include a cup of New England clam chowder, a jumbo baked potato and corn on the cob. The event is BYOB and can be eat-in or takeout.

Tickets must be purchased in advance — the deadline is Wednesday, Aug. 26 — by visiting the firehouse, calling (203) 729-1470 or filling out the form below. Please make sure you specify whether your dinner(s) will be eat-in or takeout.
