Take a Survey to Help Improve the Beacon Hose Carnival

We have already begun to plan this year’s Beacon Hose Firemen’s Carnival and Parade, which has been a yearly tradition in our community since 1963. This year’s event will take place from June 9-11 on the firehouse grounds. We’ll have lots more information coming, but we need some help as we work out the details for this summer.

For the first time, we’ve put together a 10-question survey that we’re opening up to our residents and carnival-goers. It only takes about five minutes to complete, and each result will help us make necessary changes and improvements to the event.


There are several changes that we’ve already discussed, and we want to know what you think so we can implement them. We enjoyed a great three days last June, and want to make this year’s carnival the most successful to date. All the proceeds benefit our work in the community, including fire prevention, numerous events and scholarships.

We will also be bringing back our online ticket ordering system in May so carnival-goers can skip the ticket line. Make sure to follow our Facebook page, our Twitter feed and our website for carnival news and updates.
