It’s not Oktoberfest — it’s Beacon Hose Octoberfest, and after a four-year absence, we’re happy to announce that the event is back this fall!
Join us at Beacon Hose on Saturday, Oct. 14, from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. for our third Octoberfest. Celebrate some of the year’s best weather with a day filled with good food, drinks, and family fun at our firehouse.
We’ll feature a bunch of the best food vendors in the state, including Not Just Blowin’ Smoke (barbecue), Los Mariachis (Mexican), Szabo’s Seafood (seafood), Pau Pau Pizza Cones (pizza-inspired cones), Meriano’s Cannoli Truck (cannoli), Lucky Dog Food Truck (hot dogs), Valley Nutrition (shakes), and Molly’s Bakery (pretzels, breads, and desserts).
Here’s what else we’ll have:
- Drinks: Bumski’s Mobile Bar will have 10 taps of beer, including seasonal varieties, as well as hard ciders, margaritas, vodka lemonades, and wine, plus soft drinks and apple cider!
- Activities: Plenty of games, including horseshoes, cornhole, jumbo pong, giant Jenga, board games, card games, and more.
- Demos: We’ll bring Fire Prevention Week to a close with some interactive activities and opportunities to explore our firetrucks.
- Raffle: We’ll be raffling three prizes, including a Husqvarna riding mower, a seven-piece patio set, and a cash prize. Tickets cost $5 each or $20 for five — they can be purchased at the event or online now. Winners do not need to be present.
- More: TVs streaming the day’s best college football action, plus musical entertainment.
We’re excited to continue our fall tradition here at Beacon Hose! Admission is free, and all of our food truck vendors kick back a portion of their sales to benefit Beacon Hose.
