It’s time for the return of Beacon Hose’s annual holiday scavenger hunt!
The Beacon Hose “Spreading Holiday Cheer” Scavenger Hunt is set for Saturday, November 30, from 3-9 p.m. The hunt begins and ends at Beacon Hose, and we’ll have food and prizes at the firehouse before heading over to the River’s Edge Pub and Grille for some postgame festivities. The Beacon-Holio Cornhole Tournament is back for a fifth run at Beacon Hose!
The tournament is set for Sunday, Oct. 13 at Beacon Hose. (Registration and shootaround will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by an all-you-can-eat BBQ lunch) It’ll be an all-afternoon affair (RAIN OR SHINE!) with big cash prizes on the line. The nuts and bolts of the tournament are below; click here for the rules, which will be the same as those used by the American Cornhole League.

We’re super excited to announce the full entertainment lineup for the 2019 Beacon Hose carnival and parade!
Our Liberty Bank Main Street Stage will once again be featured in the center of North Main Street, closing down the northbound lanes from June 13-15 and giving us a real block-party vibe. New is our Riverview Backstage, which will transform the staircase and landings at Volunteer Park into an amphitheater for the first two nights and Saturday afternoon. Here we go!
